The dead body of the woman was found in a hanging state and the parents of the deceased complained that her son-in-law had killed her
A dead body of a married woman was found hanging in Bangalore.
The bereaved parents have alleged that he tried to fake suicide by killing his wife.
The body of Rekha was found hanging in the house where Yelahanka lived in Newtown. Rekha's parents complained that her husband Santosh had killed her, and the police have taken Santosh into custody.
Deceased Rekha and Santhosh are natives of Tamil Nadu and settled in Bangalore. The couple, who loved each other since school, got married only one and a half years ago. They also have a 6-month-old baby girl as a witness to their married life.
Santhosh worked in welding while Rekha was a housewife. The two remained anonymous. Santhosh was pestering her to give dowry over time. Gold and money were given as dowry by Rekha's family during the marriage.
Santhosh seems to have been harassing his wife for money since marriage. It seems that even though the wedding was arranged lavishly by giving money and dowry, he was insisting to bring money from his hometown to get the site. It is said that there was a fight between the two over the same issue.
Son-in-law Santosh is behind the death. The parents of the deceased have complained that he killed Rekha and pretended to hang herself to escape the fear of arrest.
Currently, Rekha's dead body has been sent to the Yalahanka Government Hospital and the accused Santhosh has been taken into custody by the Yalahanka New Town Police.
